How to Clean External Cladding

1. Use a hosepipe or pressure washer to rinse any loose debris from the surface of the cladding.

2. Fill your bucket with warm water and add a very small amount of washing up liquid or a specialist cleaning product to create a soapy solution.

3. Apply the warm soapy water to the cladding with a sponge or microfibre cloth, and clean in circular motions to remove stubborn dirt.

4. Rinse the cladding with clean warm water, which will help to remove any leftover dirt and soap suds.

5. Buff the cladding dry with a clean microfibre cloth to add shine and remove any soap scum, which can dry to leave marks.

• When working at height ensure you are safe. Always use a sturdy, safe ladder and ask a friend, family member or neighbour to hold the bottom of your ladder while you work.
