What glazing options are available?
There are myriad glazing options to choose from. National Plastics offers two glazing choices – neutral and blue. However, you can decide to buy your roof lantern unglazed, which allows you to source your glass from a different supplier, so the possibilities really are endless!
Can I choose a different colour for the inside of my roof lantern to the outside?
Of course! Our aluminium lantern roof is available in a black, white, or grey external finish, with either a white or grey internal finish. Whilst our PVCu roof lantern comes in either grey or white for both the internal and external finishes.
This means your roof lantern can complement the outside of your home by harmonising with your existing window and door frames, whilst still blending beautifully with your kitchen, dining or living room.
How do you determine the design of my roof lantern?
The design of your National Plastics roof lantern will depend on its size. However, all our roof lanterns are made to measure using the least number of bars possible. This makes for a sleek, clean finish which lets in all the light and minimises shade.

Where do I measure for my roof lantern?
It is easy to measure for your new roof lantern using our step-by-step measuring guide. The most important thing to remember is to measure the external dimensions of your roof space – this will help us provide the most accurate quote.
Once you have entered your details, they will be sent to our customer services team who will provide a personalised quote and further information and then, if you’re happy with the quotation provided, your nearest branch will order your roof lantern and ensure that it is delivered to you following production.
