Introducing our new Clear Amber roofing products
At National Plastics we heard our customers loud and clear when they requested more roofing solutions. In response, we are happy to announce the recent expansion of our Clear Amber roofing range, including their standard Axiome® clear polycarbonate sheeting and their innovative AXGARD® range. Completely new to National Plastics is the addition of their corrugated roofing products, CORRAPOL® and complementary accessories meaning that we have a solution for a multitude of different roofing projects!
Clear Amber is a global manufacturer of polycarbonate roofing sheets, glazing bars, and corrugated plastic roofing sheets, which can be used in a vast number of circumstances from shed or garage roofing, to balcony screens, they offer a wide array of solutions. Through this blog, we will talk to you about our new product ranges and cover some of the benefits, such as how they are up to 200 times stronger than glass and safer than any of the alternatives on the market. As well as this, we explain their weather resistance properties as well as how they can keep your house or project both dry and safe.
Axiome® Polycarbonate Roofing Sheets: In addition to offering a comprehensive selection of clear Axiome sheeting we have now expanded our offer to include a selection of colours including Axiome’s new opal and bronze ranges. These are available in a wide range of thicknesses, including 4mm, 6mm, 10mm, 16mm, 25mm, and 35mm. Axiome® polycarbonate sheets are lightweight and provide an extraordinarily strong, impact-resistant glazing sheet solution, due to their excellent rigidity and strength. Axiome® roof glazing sheets can be used anywhere, ranging from garden canopies to vertical screens and glazing options. Due to the way it is made, Axiome® sheets can survive tough conditions, and they will not shatter or produce any dangerous shards if damaged, this product has a wide variety of uses from greenhouses and conservatory windows to bike shelters and swimming pool roofs.
AXGARD® Polycarbonate Sheets: These are virtually unbreakable and are a common transparent plastic sheet choice for many applications such as greenhouses, skylights, or bike shelters. AXGARD® offers a “Glass look,” bringing superior quality with no need to worry about AXGARD® shattering like glass or other plastic acrylic sheets. This is due to the AXGARD® material being made from a polymer resin which is approximately 200 times stronger than glass and, with it being the same thickness, it is virtually unbreakable and has a class 1 fire rating. These sheets are provided in many standard thicknesses ranging between 2mm and 12mm and in a large variety of sizes. AXGARD® sheets are a great plastic glazing option. What sets the sheets apart is their/its additional layer, making them extremely resilient against harsh UV rays, preventing any degradation. This product can be used in various ways, from safety glazing and balcony screens to boat windscreens. There are so many uses for this fantastic product.
CORRAPOL® Corrugated Roofing Sheets: CORRAPOL®-BT sheets are made from bitumen and offer strength and clarity, handling anything the weather throws at it. The CORRAPOL®-BT sheets can simply overlap which helps to reduce the need for cutting the sheets to size. The CORRAPOL®-BT sheets are available in 4 magnificent colours (Red, Green, Black, and Brown) the sheets link perfectly with the CORRAPOL®-BT flashing systems where we offer a wide range of systems such as the Gable Side Rock-N-Lock Flashing, Side Wall Rock-N-Lock Flashing & CORRAPOL®-BT Top Wall Flashing. We also provide the CORRAPOL®-GRP, PVC and StormProof sheets. Each range offers its benefits and characteristics: The GRP sheets being translucent and the StormProof sheets being 200 times stronger than glass!
Alukap® SS: These aluminium glazing bars take canopy glazing to a whole new level. With excellent strength and a wide range of bars; low profile, high span, wall and eaves, and posts. This excellent range will be able to cover any of your canopy glazing needs. All Alukap® SS bars are powder-coated to provide maximum longevity to the product. Alukap® XR: These bars span across 4 different ranges 45mm, 60mm, Hip and Valley and Ridge bars. They are a world-leading all-aluminium full-cover cap system. The Alukap® XR glazing bar systems provide excellent aesthetics and naturally align to structures of whichever size you order! The XR systems provide Wall Bars and Gable Bars that can accommodate rafter conditions of any kind. These XR bars are ideal to be used with hardwood or steel rafter frames and boast concealed fixings. The 100% aluminium components make the products extremely durable and perfect for carports, covered decking areas, and anything in between. The Alukap®SS and XR base bars and cover caps are more than ideal for securing glass or Axgard® and Axiome® sheets to a variety of substructures ranging from Steel, multiwall and Hardwood.
